52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 2 | Traditional Landscape
“WEEK 2: Landscape: Traditional Landscape: Shoot a beautiful landscape and share it with the world. Find a nice foreground and don’t forget the sky.”
For this week’s landscape photo, I chose Barcelona’s landscape. I went to the Park Güell and head straight to the highest point in the park; the Three Crosses Hill. And with all the city by my feet, I shot away.
As the 52-week photo challenge stated, there’s a nice foreground, there’s the sky. And for me, Barcelona city line is one of the most beautiful landscapes to see.
If you wish to participate in this challenge, or just want to know what it is about, head over to my 52-Week Photography Challenge: Week 1. I explain everything there!
Let me know what you think about my photos in the comments! And if you are doing the 52-week photo challenge yourself, don’t forget to use the hashtag #52weeksab so we could check them out!
It’s the middle of summer and I now found myself wishing for colder days. Happens all the time. You always want what you can’t have.
Blondes wanna be brunettes, curly-haired babes want straight hair, in summer you miss winter, vice-versa and a big fat ETC.
Because in Barcelona there are more “colder” months than warmer, my knitwear/coat department is bigger than the dress department. But every once in a while is best if you do some cleaning so the new stuff can fit in. Regardless of the season.
I was afraid of doing this 52-week photography challenge because it forces me to upload pictures every week and maybe that’s not the best content to put out there.
Besides, I run three categories in this blog that I intercalate to keep the content from repeating itself. And this will force me to put Photography content every week. But I figured out a solution.
So, during this challenge, the Photography content will be up on Fridays. And Wednesdays will be the days that I intercalate the Fashion and Lifestyle content.
Accordingly, if one week I have something major about photography that I want to share, I will be making that post anyway. But at the end of the post, I will share the photos of the challenge for that week. That way I will keep things moving forward.
So, what is this 52-week photography challenge?
How to get out of a creative rut?
As a creative, I’ve had to get out of a creative rut way too many times, that I can’t even remember what I did to get out of every single one of them. It is very frustrating and you start seeing everything blurry. Such as the picture above, that my boyfriend took of me. Frustratingly blurry.
I’ve recently come out of a creative rut myself. And I got out of it really fast, actually. So I’m going to share with you exactly what I did so you can get back to work as soon as possible!
