52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 6

52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 652-Week Photo Challenge: Week 6 | Artistic: Candy

“WEEK 6: Artistic: Candy: Your artistic interpretation this week should be inspired by something sweet. Therefore, a great chance to play with macro photography.”

So problem number 1: I don’t have a macro lens. And my 50mm will definitely not focus near enough. So let’s just keep this week’s 52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 6 to artistic and candy and sweet.

Since I don’t have a macro lens to play with, and the main subject is artistic. I didn’t want to take random pictures of something sweet. My Week in Photos: Trip to Berlin

my week in photosI wanted to share my week in photos from when I went to Berlin at the beginning of July. Two months already?! I was selected as a finalist in a Fashion Awards. So I went there with my boyfriend and took some extra days off to play the tourists. He had already been to Berlin, but I didn’t, so we had to take the opportunity.

Also, this is going to be a little bit different than my usual posts because I wanted to tell the story entirely with photos instead of text. But I added some notes here and there to put you in the correct context.

This style of post is inspired by Lizzy Hadfield from Shot From The Street. Please let me know in the comments if you like this kind of posts because I enjoyed greatly doing it!

“WEEK 4: Landscape: Black and White: Look for a scene with great contrast that will make a great black and white.”

It’s been almost 2 months since I came back from a 6-day trip to Berlin. I will explain more on Wednesday’s post. And I’ll share some photos from the trip there! Stay tuned because I made that post a little bit different than usual, so please let me know if you’ve liked it when you read it in the comments.

serendipity
ˌsɛr(ə)nˈdɪpɪti
the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.

A happy accident, I would say. Finding something good, without looking for it.

As a person who suffers from anxiety. Furthermore extremely perfectionist and really hard on myself. I needed a reminder that sometimes, no matter how hard you try to control things, they won’t always turn out the way you want them to. And that shouldn’t be something negative. Good things can happen when you can’t control them, too.
