Back Home and Enjoying The Last Days of Summer

Back HomeBack Home

Back HomeI just got back home yesterday from a very long flight. Saying goodbye gets harder every single time. You would say that after 7 years you would get the hang of it. But you don’t! It just gets harder and harder.

My time in Cancun with my family has come to an end – not for long, I hope – and now I’m back home in Barcelona for a few days until we finally move to Madrid. I feel like I’ve been saying this for months, though.

Moving has been a very long process, especially if you add that month vacation I just had! But now I’m back home and ready to start this exciting journey.

I really need to have a place of my own though. I feel like I’ve been hopping from house to house, and I just want to have my own place, have fun decorating it, and settle down. Have a place I can call home… Soon!

Another thing I’ve been craving is wearing cozy knitwear. This happens to me every year, we crave for summer during the coldest months. And crave winter during the warmest. That is life. But I’m sure I will regret this thought once winter hits Madrid since it’s colder there than what I’m used to in Barcelona.

Also sharing a random thought… A lot of my friends have been having babies and I find it funny that as soon as they become moms, they start acting like “bloggers”. It makes sense though, you start a new stage in life where you need as much help as possible and once you’ve figured something out you feel the need to share it with everyone. I just thought it was funny.

Maybe once I become a mom I will do the same. But I have a good excuse though, cause I already have a blog ;P

Anyway, I think that’s it for today’s rambles and updates. Talk to you soon!
