52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 15 | Artistic: Metal
“WEEK 15: Artistic: Metal: Cold, hard steel. Shiny Aluminum. Or even rusted and broken down. In conclusion, find your inspiration in metal this week.”
For this week’s 52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 15 I got my ass kicked again. I always struggle so much with the “Artistic” themes in this challenge! It’s actually a little frustrating to be honest. But oh well!
52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 14 | Landscape: Zoomed
“WEEK 14: Landscape: Zoomed: Most landscapes are wide sweeping images. Try an alternative and zoom in instead.”
I can’t believe we are on 52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 14 already! Time really goes by very fast! Anyway, since Y’all know I only have two lenses at the moment; the Canon 50mm 1.4 and the Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art. So even though my 50mm isn’t exactly a tight lens, is the tighter one I own. And also, is pretty obvious that they are both prime lenses. I don’t own any zoom lens.
52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 13 | Portrait: High Key
“WEEK 13: Portrait: High Key: Expose to the right and create a light, airy high key portrait.”
For those of you who don’t know “exposing to the right,” it’s when you set your camera settings in a way that the histogram has more information in the right side. That means that the photo will be brighter, in simple terms. It’s also known as High Key photography. If you want me to explain the histogram in-depth in another blog post, let me know in the comments. But for this week’s 52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 13 I’m not going to.
52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 12 | Artistic: Transportation
“WEEK 12: Artistic: Transportation: Our world is one defined by how we get around. Literal or interpretative, find inspiration in transportation.”
For this week’s 52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 12 I wanted to keep doing what I was doing with others week’s “artistic” themes and take it interpretative instead of literal.
Also, as always I didn’t do what I first planned to. The majority of the times it’s because something just won’t work out. But this time was on purpose. I got a better idea and went through with that.
