52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 11 | Landscape: Reflection
“WEEK 11: Landscape: Reflection: Find a way to show your landscape/natural beauty in reflection. Therefore, the mirror world revealed.”
For this week’s 52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 11 I first thought on shooting a typical landscape reflected on the lake in front of. Or through a puddle on the floor. But then I thought that even though they look really cool; first it was going to be really hard to find a place in those conditions. And second, it was way too mainstream.
52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 10 | Portrait: Environmental
“WEEK 10: Portrait: Environmental: Show a subject in their natural habitat. Their place of work or hobby is a great start. Tell their story with the environment”
For this week’s 52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 10 I had something completely different in mind. But hey, things don’t always go according to plan, right? And even though the result is simple, I quite like it.
We all know that one of the best ways to portray your current situation, the products you are currently loving, the outfit you’ll wear for the day, etc. It’s through flat-lay photography.
But with flat-lay photography, it isn’t all fun and games. Normally they are carefully curated and styled photographs so they can take a little time and a few mistakes here and there to achieve the final desired look. It’s trial and error basically.
But I’m going to show you some of my tips to make your life easier and your flat-lay photos prettier. Here we go!
52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 9 | Artistic: Shadows
“WEEK 9: Artistic: Shadows: The opposite of light is dark, the absence of light is shadow. All things considered, interpret this into a masterpiece.”
In this week’s 52-Week Photo Challenge: Week 9 I wanted to give a big shout out to one of the photos I took in my Photo Diary of my trip to Berlin. Keep in mind that many of the photos of this challenge, I took in Berlin, because I wanted to take advantage of the change of scenery for me. I knew I was going to be more inspired there. So I read what the challenges were in the upcoming weeks and took photos accordingly if the place inspired me to do so.
