Moving Update | My Plans For The Summer

SummerI’m currently writing this blog post on June 29th, while eating Sushi. So let me take you back five days into the past.

This morning (June 29th) was the official last morning in my apartment. I finally managed to put everything in boxes and wrap the delicate stuff in bubble wrap (after punching some bubbles, of course). And pack everything to get on with my life’s next chapter.

These past few days were particularly hard because we are in the middle of a heatwave. I’m shocked that I was able to survive it all. You have no idea how hard it is to don’t stop moving around, lifting heavy stuff, packing, etc while being in a room without AC and 36 degrees Celcius – which felt like 55, to be honest -. But it’s all done.

After 5 years of living in this department, I thought I would get a little emotional when I close that door for the very last time. But surprisingly, I wasn’t.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m very excited about everything coming my way. Or if it’s because it was a very small apartment. And I always felt a little bit trapped in there for the last few years. Maybe a mixture of both.

Speaking of a small apartment. It totally fooled me! You have no idea how much stuff and junk you store over the years until you have to pack everything up to move, seriously.

But now that this part of my journey is finally over, I need to focus on the next steps. Starting with chilling at la Costa Brava for almost a week, and then coming back to Barcelona because I need to take a flight to Cancun!! I’m finally seeing my family after a very long time! Although I already told you guys about this in a previous post. Anyway, point is, you should be expecting some summer content very soon!

And that is basically it. If you want to keep up with everything I’m up to, it’s more likely that I will be sharing its n bits over on my Instagram. So make sure you follow me there!

Let the summer officially commence! (without the heatwave if possible, thank you very much).
