As I said in a previous post, my sister, brother-in-law and their baby girl came to visit Barcelona! They came to a friend’s wedding and to see the part of the family that still lives here, including yours truly! The last time I saw them, was a little over a year ago. So I was really excited that they came.
Living abroad makes it really hard when it comes to family. I miss them all the time! Fortunately, I think I’m going to visit them soon! Maybe the day this post goes live, I’m already there! Who knows. I actually have a blog post talking about all the things I’ve learned these past few years living away from home.
Today I’m sharing a visual journal of a day we had as tourists in our own town. We went to the Port to use the cable car. It was an idea to entertain my niece, but we all enjoyed the amazing views of Barcelona from above.
We walked like 12kms that day! I think we started walking to get to the Cable car in the first place. Then when we got down, we walked almost the entire port and ended up at the beach. Afterward, we walked up through the Born and ended up all the way up in the Arc de Triomf.
We really combed the streets and took a lot of photos. So that’s what I’m sharing today. Enjoy!
Speaking of family…if you see this: HAPPY BDAY BRO!
