Summer Ready with The Body Shop

The Body Shop

As long as I can remember, skincare, body-care, and hair-care have been a priority for me. I don’t know if this kind of obsession began with me having very very sensitive skin. That I wanted to take care of it. But I do, and I do very much. Not only my skin but my hair and body as well.

I have been a The Body Shop customer for a long time now because their stuff is very gentle to the skin and very gentle to -life- itself. It is an almost 100% cruelty-free vegan company which I love. And as you guys know, I’ve been an ambassador to the brand for many months now.

In today’s post, I wanted to show you the most recent goodies that I got from them. Two of them they gave to me for me to introduce you to their new collection. The other two I chose because of my specific hair type. I’ll explain further below.

The Body Shop’s new collection is banana scented, with a hint of coconut. Needless to say, it smells AMAZING.
From the whole product line, I got the Banana Body Yogurt (100% vegan); which is a light-weight moisturizer for the body. It absorbs very quickly and doesn’t leave you with that thick and greasy feeling after application.

I also got the Banana Foaming Body Polish (100% vegan) which is a body scrub, that softly exfoliates dead skin away. They told me that the little bids that make this scrub are actually olive bones! Which I thought was amazing and less harmful to the environment.

They had hair products that were part of their new Banana collection. But this hairline is targeted for people with dry hair. And I have oily hair, so they gave me the products that would benefit my hair the most. And I want to share them with you.

As a shampoo, I got the Fuji Green Tea Refreshingly Purifying Scrub Shampoo (100% vegetarian). You read that right. It is a SCRUB for the hair, which I think it’s really interesting and fun!

Last but not least, I got the Strawberry Clearly Glossing Conditioner (100% vegan) which is for dull hair. Because even though I have an oily scalp, my ends are really dry and damaged, and the overall look of my hair is very dull.

I think is needless to say that every single The Body Shop product I mentioned smells absolutely insane! As I clearly stated in my recent Instagram post for them. Sorry Not Sorry.
